Attrtactions for you Tournament Vacation in Rio Rancho, New Mexico!

rr_3J & R Vintage Auto Museum link:
It started out as just a building to display the cars and since has grown into a museum with approximately 70 vehicles on display, along with some other auto-related memorabilia.  There are some cars for sale or trade.  There is also a book store with mostly motor-related books, die-cast toys, and some porcelain signs.  The cars range from a 1912 Buick  to a 1969 Mercury Cougar, which was daughter Melvonna's first car she bought when she was a sophomore in high school.  Gab also has a large restoration shop where you can often times find him tinkering with his cars.

Chamisa Hills Golf & Country Club link:
Chamisa Hills Golf and Country Club was designed and built in 1970 by nationally respected architects, Desmond Muirhead, whom created the West nine, and well known golfer, Gene Sarazen (Nicknamed the “Squire”), whom developed the East nine.  In 1988, the Merry Mex”, Lee Trevino, constructed the North nine.

The architects saw the opportunity to develop three quite different but equally challenging nines for both men and women.  In doing so, they succeed by creating 27-holes of championship golf that high and low handicappers alike can enjoy.  Shot placement is extremely crucial as deciduous trees are strategically placed throughout the course.  Special care was taken during the development of the Chamisa Hills Golf and Country Club community to maintain property lines that would not interfere with the play on this classic course layout.  The fairways feature primarily Bluegrass, and the greens consist of Seaside Bent.

Here's what the Skatewave website had to say about their little park here: "World-renowned skateboarder Andy Macdonald was on hand to open Rio Rancho's second and third public Skatewave skatepark. The new skatepark located at the Rio Rancho Sports Complex is the region's largest modular skatepark and the largest Skatewave 2.0 facility. City impact fees and in-kind service donation from a local contractor were used to fund the skateparks. Both of the skatepark's layouts are divided by skill level and cater to all levels of ability."
