Canoe and Kayak enthusiasts will find many out of the way coves and miles of shoreline to explore. For avid anglers looking to hook up a German brown, rainbow trout, Kokannee salmon, small mouth bass, bluegill or catfish, Shaver Lake is the ultimate angler destination and is open year around for fishing. Families who bring their boats to Shaver Lake will find a public boat launching ramp maintained by Fresno County at the north end of the lake, or Shaver Lake Marina at Camp Edison offering boat launching facilities for its paying customers, and a handicap boat access available near Sierra Marina at the north end of the lake. |
